Hi Guys :) hope you are all well! I just wanted to start this post with a massive YIPEEEEE and THANK YOU to all you lovely people who read and have chosen to follow my blog, I have just reached the big 1000 and well its just the best feeling ever, thank you so much it really means a lot that you choose to read my little o' blog!

So my last post was introducing my new babies, the Dr Martin Deirdre shoes, and well this is me wearing my babies aha! I literally could not stop looking at my feet all day in these, I felt like such a kid aha! I'm pretty sure you'll be seeing a lot more of these, specially with spring on the way :)

Hope you all have a lovely weekend, speak soon xo

Trousers - Lashes of London * | Jumper - Primark | Boots - Lavish Alice *

Ok so I'm not to sure about these trousers I wore them yesterday and well I like them but just not sure they are really me. I feel like I cannot really pull the 'printed trouser' trend off, I know that I would love these if I saw them on some one else but on me not so :\ what do you guys think, is it me or printed trousers really hard to wear?

Keeping it short and sweet today as I am at work, speak soon lovelies xo

p.s my blog is currently in the transition of changing to www.kirstywears.com so look out for me guys!

BEFORE THE STORM

Dress - Topshop | Shoes - Dr Martins | Jacket - Topman | Watch - Swatch

Hey Guys, just a quick update/outfit post from me I hope everyone is okay and have had lovely weekends :) I haven't really been up to much as per, but I went home on the weekend to see my mammy which was really nice - for some reason going home makes everything feel alright and well just better again I have come back with such a clear and relaxed head! However I'm not sure how long calm me will last specially with the week I have ahead of me.. uni has turned pretty hectic with sampling, and fittings etc and time is going so quickly I cannot believe I am almost finished :S eek but with sooo much to do before then I cannot bare to think about the end!

So to the outfit ( my favourite part ) I wore this over the weekend and well have lived in the Dr M's since the moment they arrived, the dress I got for Christmas and have only worn a handful of times but I just love the simplicity of the fit and it is really easy to dress up or down.  This has to be my favourite outfit combo at the moment, just a simple dress with cute shoes and because the weather has been so nice recently a light weight jacket too, god it feels good to be out of the old winter coat. Wahh expect for the last couple of days of course which have been cold and miserable again..  Hopefully it is just a blip and that spring is well and truly on its way fingers crossed!

Well I'm off to go make a quick cuppa before getting back to designing my final collection, hopefully speak soon, over & out xo

If you follow my instagram then you probably recognise this jumper! I have worn/lived in it ever since picking it up in Zara during the January sales, I probably could of done without another slouchy knitted jumper as my collection is actually ridiculous now, but how could anyone resist such an amazing colour! Obviously not me >_< heheee xo

Skirt * ( Shout ft) Lavish Alice | Tee - Primark

A couple of weeks ago I got asked to take part in skirt feature for Shout Magazine, I was asked to style this lovely neon ombre skirt from Lavish Alice, and well these are the results. I decided to style it as casual everyday look with just a simple oversized boyfriend tee and, my denim jacket. What do you guys thinks?

SUNSHINE!!!!!!!!!!! This makes me so happy wahh I have been locked away in my room for the past week writing/failing at doing my dissertation (you can probably tell by the look of death on my face, gees I look so ghostly), but finally I can safely say that I think I have finished my dissertation :D wooooo! So today was my first day of freedom well kind of I had like 2 hours of freedom & I went for a walk to get some much needed fresh air.  Then I was back touching up on last minute notes etc..  However on my 2 hour break I was able to enjoy the sunshine and go for a stroll and what not better way to do this than to get the pins out, ahaaa it felt so good! I received this lovely skater style dress from She Likes a couple of weeks ago and I have been dying to wear it but being at uni pretty much 24/7 I don't normal get the opportunity to wear nice things, I normally just chuck a pair of skinnies on with an over sized knit and go... not very exciting I know. So it is always nice to get a cute dress on for a change!

I hope everyone has had a lovely weekend, speak soon xo

Skirt - Karma * | Crop Top - Missguided | Necklace - Twisted Vintage

This is one of my favourite outfits in my wardrobe at the moment it is just so easy to wear, I really love the maxi side split skirts at the moment I have seen them in so many shops and so many other lovely bloggers wearing them too, so when Karma contacted and I saw they had this skirt I knew I had to have it. Karma have so many other colour variations and at £7.99 you cannot really go wrong, such a bargain!

Hope everyone is keeping well, sorry it has been slow on the blog recently, I have be super busy with uni & if you follow me on twitter, instagram you would of seen that on Thursday I had my graduate final collection show, which was freaking amazing! Even better I got handpicked to go through to the next show, at the Truman Brewery eeeek so exciting! I will blog a little sneak peak of my collection soon :D

BIRTHDAY TREATS ✿

Ok so on Thursday I turn 22 which is a little scary I must admit, however whilst trying incredibly hard to forget that I'm growing up, it also happens that my birthday has fallen right in amongst a very important stage at uni so I haven't really really felt excited or planned to do anything, which makes me a little sad but secretly I have convinced myself that I can skip this years celebration and stay 21 for a little while longer! No didn't think so! So to cheer myself up I have made a small wish list of some lovely things that I have been admiring through the screen for the last couple of months.  Hmm turning 22 wouldn't be too bad if it meant having bumble bee phone case (which I might add is for an iPhone which I don't own but am planning on getting an upgrade and being a cool kid soon) (I am sad I know) and pretty yellow sandals which would match my bumble bee phone! This post has made me a little happier aha bring on the 9th woohoo!

Bloggers block. This feels strange I feel out of 'the loop' with my own blog, it has been 5 months since I last posted and believe me there have been numerous attempts to start blogging again which resulted in numerous fails. I really did not think it was going to be this hard to get back into but believe me I am feeling utterly lost right now. My blog came to a halt towards the last few months of university and if you read my blog you may of notice it was slowing down months before then too. The work load just got too much and I practically spent most of my days and nights in the knit studio, so my hobbies and social life pretty much went out the window for the quite a while,  but it was all worth it in the end! So well I guess this is me now trying to break the ice and rekindle my love for my blog and start reading all my favourites again. I have yet to take some outfit snaps which honestly I'm finding really hard I feel super self conscious at the moment probably because I just haven't done it for so long, but I do have a few bits I am looking forward to blogging so hopefully I'll get back into the swing of it soon. Looking forward to getting back into the world of blogging, speak soon guys xo

HI.

Jumper, Skirt - ASOS, Boots - River Island, Faux Fur Gilet - Topshop, Bag - Marc B

I don't know about you guys but I'm so excited for Autumn, I love everything about this time of year, the cosy evenings, the crisp mornings and most of all the wardrobe! Winter is definitely my time of year, I struggle so much in the summer to feel comfortable in myself I don't really know why but I much prefer me in my winter clothes.

So this year for me it is all about tartan, I am obsessed. Everything I have bought recently has been tartan and I am secretly wishing I could wear it all at once aha. This ASOS jumper is one of my favourite pieces I have bought, it is just so easy to wear and goes with so many other things in my wardrobe.

Phew! and she breaths. First outfit post up in over 5 months it feels weird, but good to be blogging again :) YAY! I'm happy to be back, speak soon guys xo

LILAC LINES

Skirt - Topshop, Boots - RiverIsland, Jumper - Primark

It seems that all my tartan getup is getting its fair share of wearage at the moment, this skirt being my ultimate fav ha much to the disgust of the boyfriend who has clearly made me chuckle in the last photo with his opinions of my outfit choice. I tell ya he knows nothing.

I'm loving the whole skirt and jumper combo at the moment it is such a quick and simple outfit to put together, however I think is deceiving as it looks like you made a little bit more effort than the norm. Which is always a plus especially when you know you haven't ;)

So I'm currently blogging from ma bed in my pjs, whilst catching up on last nights X Factor. Dreamy Sundays are the best speak soon guys xo

Dress - Missguided, Boots - Riverisland, Hat - H&M, Necklace, rings - Primark

OK so the hat and a baggy dress combo probably was not the best outfit choice for this extremely windy weekend we are having. The majority of the photos taken were of me trying to elegantly hide my knickers (fail) whilst at the same time trying to save my hat from flying away. Ha fun blogging times!

But I'm glad there were at least two decent snaps to blog because I have been dying to show this gorgeous velvet trapeze dress from Missguided. I wore it last weekend to my sisters 18th birthday and well I have been dying to wear it again since, so it was a must I wear it this weekend come wind, rain or shine ha ( we have had all three ). It is such an easy wear and super comfortable as it is so over sized  great little number to have in the wardrobe for those 'I feel like wearing a pretty dress' moments - no only me that gets those oh well who cares :P

Hope everyone has had a lovely weekend, I cannot believe it is Monday again tomorrow. Boo! xo

Dress - c/o Pussycat London, Boots - RiverIsland, Jumper (as cardigan) - Topshop, Necklaces - H&M and Primark

I have been really excited to share with you all the online boutique Pussycat London, which I was introduced to a couple a weeks ago. They have some really pretty dresses which would look perfect this winter with cosy jumpers and cute woolly hats. This dress here was one of the ones that really stood out to me, the floral medallion pattern was just really pretty and I loved the brightness of the purple with the pale blue. Definitely the perfect dress for layering and adding colour to a simple outfit.

The one thing I do love about blogging is finding really cute, little online treasures that sell the prettiest of dresses, and all other wardrobe treats and goodies :) my favourite thing is reading my favourite blogs and finding such treasures.

Jumper - ℅ Chicnova, Jeans - Topshop, Scarf - Zara

Quick casual post for a lazy Monday wearing my skinnies and this super cosy knitted jumper from Chicnova. Super excited to have a week off work this week I plan to just chill, catch up with family and well just simply catch up with erm.. my life.

One thing about being a grown up and having a full time job is you never have time to do anything - it is rubbish and well I'm not ashamed to admit that I have had numerous tantrums over the last few months at how much I hate the 'real world' because it sucks & STUDENT LIFE RULED! Can I please just do another degree?

DAISY MAE JEWELLERY

The lovely Daisy behindDaisy Mae Jewellery contacted me recently asking if I would like to review her hand made jewellery. After looking at Daisy's pretty website and seeing all the lovely things she hand makes, how could I not share it with you guys.

One of my favourite pieces from daisy's online shop was this little dainty gold star which I thought was perfect for this time of year, being Christmas and all! It is a great layering necklace to wear as the shorter chain sits perfectly amongst other slightly longer necklaces.

Some of my other favourite pieces from Daisy Mae Jewellery were these I have listed below (see links for items) - Foxy Ring, Elephant Charmed Bracelet, and the Mockingjay Necklace. If you haven't heard of Daisy's jewellery before then you should definitely go have a browse she has some really cute things on her website and everything is so reasonably priced!

iPhone 4S Case - ℅ Casetagram

I have been so excited to blog my custom made Casetagram case, I literally didn't even think for a minute to put it on my iPhone before taking the photos for my blog ha DOH dumb blogger moment. Oh well it is on my phone now and I am so happy with it. I cannot stop showing it off!

So a bit about Casetagram - If you're like me and love to take photos and are little obsessed with Instagram then you will love and must make your own Casetagram. Casetagram pride themselves on their high quality custom made cases, allowing user to put their fav photos from their Facebook, Instagram, computer and phones onto a wide selection of gadget cases. I created my iPhone 4s case by downloading the Casetagram app on to my phone, once downloaded I was able to select the case model and collage design. After choosing the case I wanted to create I then started to pull through all my favourite photographs from my Instagram and my phones photostream. It was so simple to use and you can recreate the case as many times as you please before you finally decide to follow through to the purchase page. However if you wanted to create your case from your computer you can also used their main website which is just as easy and clear to use.

If you are looking for a case that is a little bit more special and personal then I would 100% recommend using Casetagram the quality is amazing and they have so many different options and styles of designs to choose from. The app and website is so easy to use, I literally spent days recreating different designs with my photos, ha it can become a little addictive once you get creating!

Casetagram create custom cases for iPhones, iPads, iPods, Galaxy, Blackberry, Nexus, HTC, and Optimus G gadgets! So what you waiting for go get casetagraming :)

Holographic Boots - Missguided, Trousers and Top - Topshop, Necklace - Primark, Knitted Bag - Easy Home Style

Oh how I do love a mix match of textures and today I breaking all the rules by wearing a dogtooth woven coat, tartan top, velvet patterned trousers, holographic space booties, and a knitted bag - Yep! I'm sure somewhere someone is thinking what the hell was she thinking, but to me this is my perfect kind of combo.

OK so the main garms I want to talk about today is these bad boy holographic boots, such babies my loving boyf bought me for Christmas have not left my feet since opening them Crimbo morning! I think they must be the most perfect boots I've ever owned, not only are they uber cool, they're super comfy and shiney holographic what more is there to say! I know Missguided have a few different holographic styles on their website so if these don't take your fancy then they might have another pair that might ;)

Also I would just like to say that the coat I am wearing is a buying sample from where I am currently working, I was lucky enough to get to take the beauty home. Even if it is far to big for me I kind of fell it love with its hugeness and the dogtooth pattern, so I couldn't say no. BUT just in case you guys like this coat and were looking for a similar style I have hunted some out for you. See links below

I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas, speak soon! xo
